Realistic Sunfish Jointed Swimbait Fishing Lure

NOTE - This project's failure is a lesson learned! I'm abandoning this design, moving on to new challenges, and leaving the files intact in case someone else wants to take on the task. This was my first attempt at modeling something in Fusion 360, so there might still be some kinks to work out. I designed a Realistic Sunfish Jointed Swimbait lure that assembles similarly to my Crankbait Fishing Lure. To complete the other half of each side, simply mirror the STLs in your slicer. You can paint this lure to mimic various types of typical Sunfish, such as Bluegill, Pumpkinseed, Rockbass, or even Crappie. I opted for a Pumpkinseed pattern after studying the fish it was modeled after. UPDATES 10-17-16 - I added Sunfish Lure Body V3 with Pectoral Fin and raised 3D Gill. 10-19-16 - I tested Sunfish Lure Body V3 yesterday, but unfortunately, it didn't perform well. It failed to swim like a traditional swimbait, lacking any real action. However, the one I cut out for plexiglass with a lip worked better, so I'll likely add that feature and re-upload all the files. 06-04-17 * Added Sunfish Lure Body Lip = Body with Printed Lip * Added Sunfish Lure Body Clear Lip = Body for use with Clear Plexiglass Lip (still untested) 06-05-17 * Added a couple of Lip Templates, which can be used to create a custom lip for your lure. You can either print them and glue them to the body or trace onto a piece of plexiglass. 07-16-17 - I tested out the new lip designs but wasn't satisfied with the results. The larger lipped one had too much wobble, while the smaller one was erratic and only worked at slow retrieves. 08-22-17 - After another failed test, this time using a single-piece version, I've decided it's time to give up on this design and move on to something better. I'm leaving the files intact in case someone else wants to experiment with them. 06-15-18 For a working version of this design, please see - https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2962351 Print Settings: Printer Brand: MakerGear Printer: MakerGear M2 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.10 Infill: 70% Notes: I initially printed the lure at 20% infill, which resulted in it floating (not ideal for a swimbait). To fix this, I reprinted it with 70% infill, which allowed it to sink properly.
