CREATION The model and its accessories have been crafted with 3D Studio Max (2016 edition). The topology is comprised of quads and triangles. Images have been created using the Vray rendering engine (version 3.0). MATERIAL AND TEXTURES Texture sizes range from 1024x1024px to 8192x8192px. All textures are in TGA format. The .jpg file "environment.jpg" in the texture folder was used during the rendering process. RIGGING AND ANIMATIONS The model has been rigged with spline and bones of 3D Studio Max (2016 edition). The package includes nine animations: -idle, running from frame 0 to frame 69 -starting race, running from frame 70 to frame 94 -standing pedal loop, running from frame 95 to frame 120 -go sitting, running from frame 121 to frame 170 -simple pedal loop, running from frame 171 to frame 271 -drinking loop, running from frame 272 to frame 525 -exultance, running from frame 526 to frame 724 -losing, running from frame 725 to frame 821 An additional file combines all the animations in a single timeline through the mixer of 3D Studio Max. The intervals between animations are noted beside each name. All animations have been carefully crafted (no motion capture). They can be viewed on our YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ONtoefgkKxg. FBX The FBX files for the animations were exported using Autodesk FBX 2016. The bones of the biped were converted to dummy format during the export from .max to .fbx. Note: The FBX is used for interoperability between digital content creation applications, but it cannot be edited in the same way as the original 3D Studio Max files due to its limited features.
