Here are some of the claws I designed for my fur suit. While you could print these out in PLA, the version presented in the photos used a resin 3D printer to capture the high detail of the model. I also used an airbrush to get the coloring scheme shown When it comes to sizing these its a little more art than science. What I did was create an array of claws that decreased in size by 5% and eventually found a set of claws that fit my hands properly. this works well enough for a resin printer as the height is only contributing factor to print time, so you can fill the bed up with out any time increase. for the airbrushing paint I primarily used the scale75 Wood and leather paint set and the scale75 essentials basic color set for the red. Something that I tried doing was to add a quick into the claw. If the parts are printed with clear resin, you drill a hole into the body of the claw coming from the ring side of the part and fill it with paint to emulate the quick. I tried making the parts hollow and digging a hole through the slicer, chitubox, but the parts decided to fill themselves with infill for what ever reason and didn't give the effect I wanted.
