Realacc XS220E top plate with VTX and Camera Mounts
thingiverse
Realacc XS220E top plate with VTX, Runcam Micro Camera Mounts, 45-degree antenna tube holes, and separate FrSky X4RSB receiver mount, utilizing standoffs - it's a game-changer for organized racing quads. All components are neatly arranged in their designated spots. This is the second version of this top plate, designed to improve upon previous flaws. I was unhappy with mounting the camera on the bottom of the plate due to obstructed prop views, so I created one with a top-mounted camera, protected by camera guards for added security. The top plate features a window for channel display on VTX and a pinhole for channel selection button access. The original plastic canopy that came with this frame was flimsy and lacked adequate space for housing all electronics. Camera guards can be secured using a 26mm standoff on top of the camera, providing extra protection against hard impacts. While it may not be easy to find this size, I used a Dremel tool to cut one to custom specifications. My previous version was printed from ABS and flew frequently without any issues. Even with high-powered VTX operation at 600mw, the plastic didn't get warm - a testament to its durability.
