Dated back to the 18th Dynasty New Kingdom era (c.1390-1352 BC), this calcite masterpiece showcases Sobek in a human form with a crocodile head, while Amenhotep III is depicted as a youthful king. He wears the Nemes headdress adorned with the Uraeus and royal beard. This priceless artifact now resides in Luxor Museum, Egypt. The 3D scanning process involved 240 images captured using a Nikon D3100 with an 18-140 lens; no flash was used as the statue was illuminated by museum light.
