Real Madrid Football Club of Spain was founded in 1902. They have won the FIFA Club World Cup three times, in 1960, 1968, and 2002. The club has also been victorious in the UEFA Champions League on nine occasions, in seasons 1955-56 to 1959-60 and 1965-66, 1997-98, 1999-00, and 2001-02. They have won the UEFA Cup twice, in seasons 1984-85 and 1985-86. In terms of domestic league titles, Real Madrid has dominated Spanish football, winning La Liga a record 33 times, from 1931-32 to 2011-12.
