Real Human Left Hemisphere
thingiverse
I created a three-dimensional model of my left brain hemisphere using data from a 3D SPGR MRI scan taken at the University of Palermo's MRI scanner. This device can peer through tissues and detect variations in densities within each virtual slice of the head, capturing detailed images of the intricate structures inside. Following the scan, I employed BrainVoyager QX software to reverse-engineer the process and rebuild the 3D surface of my cranium. This sophisticated program is also capable of automatically distinguishing brain tissue from surrounding tissues in each slice, then reconstructing a "peeled" brain model. The following print settings were used: Printer Brand: Prusa Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.1 Infill: 20% Please note that I have not yet printed the model and hope these settings are accurate, recommending that you rotate the object to ensure the flat surface lies on the printer bed.
