I'm Determined to Create a Simple LED Lamp, So I Started Designing a Little Lamp in SketchUp and Here's the Result. I Learned a Lot of New Things and My Soldering Skills Were Put to the Test. The lamp is designed for easy printing, but it will take a long time to print some parts. None of the parts really need support, but I added a little to the lampshade just to be sure. Print Settings Printer: CraftBot 2 Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2 mm Infill: 20% Notes: Total printing time is approximately 15 hours. Unfortunately, I used SketchUp to draw the lamp. One of the limitations in SketchUp is that you cannot create true round objects. You are limited to the number of segments for a curve. So when printing, I noticed that the curves were not round but squared off slightly. Despite this issue, I like the look of the lamp. Maybe I will remake the lamp in a different program to get better curves. How I Designed This This is the completed lamp, exactly how I wanted it to look. All the parts separated and some combined so I could check if they would fit together. Electronics What I Used: 5x 5 mm White LEDs with 10,000 mcd, 20° beam angle, 20 mA current draw, and 3.2 V operating voltage 1x 220 Ohm resistor Switch Some cable Universal power supply set to 18V
