Reading auditory feedback
thingiverse
Human: Created by an educator, this tool is designed to provide auditory feedback which helps children learn to read, increase fluency and comprehension, and meet special needs such as autism, APD, stuttering, and dyslexia. By speaking into the device, children hear themselves (auditory feedback) and can make adjustments to fluency, pronunciation, and even increase comprehension. Children with special needs like autism, auditory processing disorder, stuttering, and dyslexia experience remarkable benefits from the auditory feedback process of listening to themselves read aloud. Seeing the benefits in special needs students, teachers worldwide use it with all their pupils; in Brazil, kids make their own device using 2 PVC pipes and a piece of pipe. This is my remake of the original tool, made for my son. I designed a head support too, but haven't printed it yet, so you're welcome to comment on any changes I can make to the head support design. The tool must be printed without supports, and the head support will require some support when printed.
