Reach 3D Z Axis Upper Brace
thingiverse
This is a 3D printer design for the Z-axis upper brace of the Reach 3D printer. Although it might not be essential, I still wanted to create and share this design on Thingiverse. Printing with support is highly recommended, especially for the back section that rests on the 2040 Extrusion. Print Settings: Printer: Reach 3D Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: .2mm Infill: 15% Notes: Printed on Reach 3D using PLA filament, a 1.75mm nozzle, and a 205C print head temperature. Post-Printing: The Spool Holder bolt passes through this brace and then through the 2040 Spool Holder Peg. The bearing used is a 608zz type with a diameter of 22mm and an 8mm center hole, sourced from Amazon. It's recommended to use support as the back sits flat on the Z-axis 2040 extrusion without it; some detail work may be required. How I Designed This: I designed this using Sketchup Make 2016, converted it with Meshlab, printed it with Repetier, and sliced it with CuraEngine.
