thingiverse
A versatile drag knife attachment for the Reach 3D printer is inspired by the Mostly Printed CNC Roland Drag Knife Holder created by dewitt and published on January 8, 2016, on Thingiverse. See more information about the printer at https://plus.google.com/u/0/communities/117771940868613599658 or https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/2121749597/259-reach-3d-printer/posts/1532434 for further details. This design is still in development, and I have yet to try it out as my printer will be delivered a few months from now. Update: September 27, 2016 Extra space has been added to accommodate the nuts at the top of the plate that the drag knife attachment fits onto. Print Settings for Fisher Printer: Rafts: Not Necessary Supports: Yes Layer Resolution: 0.3mm Layers Infill Percentage: 20% Notes: I've successfully printed this design in PETG, and I recommend using linear layers instead of concentric top and bottom layers for optimal results. This design was created in ON shape and made public to allow for remixing at https://cad.onshape.com/documents/570ea253e4b001cf5d5526a0/w/dd758bb8df5f58f3410b8c92/e/1d0819072ccf9d568b81ffa3. Version 2 has improved connectivity options, allowing the holder to attach securely to all four points on the Reach 3D printer. The top portion has also been shortened to minimize plastic usage.
