Reach 3D Printer - Alternate Fan Bracket
thingiverse
Here's an alternate fan bracket for Nate Roger's Reach 3D printer that I've created. I've installed an E3D v6 hotend on my machine and modified the induction sensor bracket to improve airflow, but my stock fan bracket wasn't directing the air flow where it would be effective. This bracket places the fan a bit lower and is twisted to direct the fan output onto the extruded plastic, ensuring optimal cooling. Print Settings: Printer: Reach 3D Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: Any Infill: 15% Notes: This design shouldn't require any special settings or adjustments. How I Designed This Design I designed this fan bracket in OnShape and made it available in their public repository. The STL file is attached for your convenience. If you need a STEP or other CAD file, please let me know in the comments section below.
