RE7-25 charger for Panasonic Shaver
thingiverse
I've had this Panasonic shaver for over ten years now, and it's been a great one - except for the fact that the RE7-25 charger is super bulky, not to mention it has an European plug, making it impossible to travel with. So I decided to make myself one instead. Note that the output is 5.0V and 1A DC, which can be provided by our modern device chargers. I first measured and CAD'd the two-pin connector header in CATIA - and surprisingly, it fit like a glove on the very first try. Then I designed the base for the header, spliced an existing phone cable, and exposed only the VCC and ground wire. Next, I fed the wires with the plastic shield through the header base, then tied a knot on the plastic shield for strain relief. After that, I inserted the VCC and ground into their corresponding pin holes and superglued the base to the header. Voila - it works like a charm! You'll find compatible shavers in the tag section.
