Re-X Carriage (Titan Aero extruder, Re-D-Bot)
thingiverse
Hello guys. How are you? I'm thrilled to introduce my brand new x-carriage for 3d printers! ~_~ About My Friends My awesome friends surprised me with a fantastic gift - the Titan Aero extruder. I'm incredibly grateful to them for this thoughtful gesture, which was totally unexpected and very much appreciated. Why I Did It After carefully analyzing what I could print using this amazing extruder, I decided to design my own carriage. My primary objectives were: * Modular construction * Ergonomic design * A solution featuring two radial fans for optimal airflow * An optical endstop for a quieter printing experience * Weight balance, so the motor wouldn't be placed at the front * Tensioners for belts and wheels to ensure smooth operation * Easy printing, which allowed me to print all parts without supports * And an attractive appearance For You (; I invested some time in creating a detailed assembly guide (*Assembly-XX.pdf in files*). I hope this will help you understand what the carriage is and how it can be assembled. Additionally, in the files, you'll find two Solidworks 2017 files containing the sources for fan duct nozzles. Now, you can create your own custom nozzle for your heater block if needed. Below, I've duplicated a picture from the guide to illustrate the parts listed on this page. Have a nice printing experience! PS: Speed test https://youtu.be/HKpPyD25O4A
