RDTA & RDA Holders
thingiverse
I helped design and manufacture RTA & RDTA holders for my friend Sevrick (S) and myself (M). The designs included a 24 mm Avocado model, as well as several others with slightly smaller diameters: 22 mm BAAl, Tsunami, Vaporesso Gemini, and Velocity. To bring these models to life, I utilized the Picaso 3D Designer software. During the printing process, it was decided not to use rafts, regardless of whether they were necessary or not. Supports were implemented to ensure stability, and a resolution setting of .25 mm was chosen. A moderate infill percentage of 10% was also selected. After the prints were complete, I needed to scale them up slightly to achieve the desired dimensions, which required an approximate scaling factor of 1.03. Finally, I performed some light sanding on the edges to smooth out any rough spots.
