RDQ Mach 1 Canopy
thingiverse
I was in dire need of a canopy to fully enclose my RDQ Mach 1 build. My goal was total protection and aerodynamics, so I came up with this design. What really stood out to me was the extra space above the stack. This serves as an excellent shock-absorber during high-impact landings and allows for good airflow. I created this design using Fusion 360. No hardware is required - the canopy simply presses into place on 30mm or 35mm standoffs. If you're not interested in the fin, it's easy to remove by cutting it off. To print this model, use support material from the bed only and opt for 100% infill. The higher the density of the support material, the better the interior quality will be. Now I can fly with confidence!
