RD6006 Complete Case for small Printer & Mains PSU
thingiverse
This is my complete design for the RD6006. Crafted specifically with small printers like my i3-Mega in mind, it prioritizes silence and good airflow :). The largest component (right side) measures 130x150x180mm. It's engineered to be used with standard Mains-Power-Supplies found worldwide (e.g., https://www.amazon.com/dp/B077CK2HJF/). This case consists of two parts, best printed from the left/right side up (see screenshot). I recommend using 2mm walls and/or 100% infill for optimal results. Support is not required. Additional holes are provided for: - IEC socket (c14) - Real Power-Switch (Double-Throw, ~22,4 x 19mm) - 80x80mm Fan To assemble the case, simply place all parts in their designated positions, do the necessary cabling, secure the PSU with short M-Screws (M4) from below, close the case using four screws for wood or plastics, and add some rubber-feet. PS: I connected my PSUs and 80mm-Fan in series, both operating silently. Only replicate if you're confident in your abilities ;). Enjoy!
