This motor mount alternative is designed for the RCTimer Trooper Y6 multicopter, created by user frj79 in the Trooper thread on rcgroups.com. I assisted with printing and thought others might find the STL file valuable. Instructions Print the mounts using ABS or PETG - PLA won't suffice (it will collapse). Use a brim to ensure flat mounting. Twelve mounts are required in total: 4 per arm. Attach the motors using carbon fiber plates atop each mount, as shown in the images. I used 25% infill and it works perfectly, weighing just about 3 grams per mount - add more infill if extra strength is needed.
