RCExplorer Tricopter F3FC Front Spacer
thingiverse
This is a remix of http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1721582. I expanded the front "lip" of the spacer, where the FPV cam mounts, to fit the mounting bracket that comes with RunCam FPV cams (Swift, Eagle, Owl, etc.), since it's thicker than the traditional mount that comes with HS1177 cams. Instead of the 7mm lip in the original, this has a 10mm lip. Otherwise, it's essentially identical. Print Settings Printer: Prusa i3 MK2 Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Doesn't Matter Resolution: .15 Infill: 20% Notes: I printed this in PETG. It would also work well in PLA (but a little more brittle) or ABS. However, it wouldn't work in flex materials like TPU due to the pressure of the plates. How I Designed This I loaded the source .stl into Fusion360 and used it as a pattern to create new sketches, extrusions, filets, etc., since there isn't really a way to modify .stl files in Fusion360. Then, I added my modifications during the process.
