While I love the RCE Bicopter's capabilities, its repairability and camera mounting system are significant drawbacks. To address these issues, I've designed a new solution that hopefully overcomes both problems. This design boasts a wide-angle camera tilt range of +40 to -10 degrees, accommodating most 19 mm wide cameras similar to the Runcam Swift Micro. The mount's hatch pivots open for easy access to internal components. Video and receiver electronics can be mounted to the underside of the hatch, featuring both 20 x 20 and 30 x 30 mounting holes. To ensure camera stability, 40 mm spacers are used to reinforce the area around the camera, providing extra strength. The entire canopy is designed to slide over the frame or carbon rod, making installation and maintenance a breeze. Please note that this design requires the RCE Bicopter frame and winglets for optimal performance. For the best printing results, I recommend using Oynx-CF material.
