RCBS swage step for Lee Challenger O frame press
cults3d
When using a RCBS swage tool to remove primer crimp from military brass, the brass could not be easily removed because some parts did not work well with the Lee Challenger press. After printing this piece, remove the tool retention spring from the ram, slide piece onto ram and reinstall spring. The piece is made to allow the full range of the ram, with the tool installed. At this time, I don't how how well it would hold up if it is used when pressing primers into the case because I load mine with a hand primer; but if it has some shortcomings in that area, I would love to hear about them so that I could improve this piece. Edit: I have now attempted to prime with the piece installed and have had issues with primers not lining up or being inserted sideways. When I get a chance, I will make an alteration which may fix this issue
