RCBS Rockchucker Primer Catcher
thingiverse
After experimenting with a few designs here, I created my own so I had room for my auto-eject system. I built two versions of this design initially, one left-handed and one right-handed, just in case I wouldn't have enough space. This design is intended for the Rockchucker IV, but it might also fit earlier models - you'll need to be lucky with that though as it only sits on the main upright. It's held securely in place by six 6.3mm diameter (1/4 inch) Neodymium magnets embedded in the rear of the catcher. The holes are slightly undersized, allowing for a snug fit or requiring some reaming to ensure a perfect fit, which was exactly what I wanted to achieve. To keep the magnets firmly in place, I applied superglue. If you're not willing to wait for your magnets to arrive by post, you could try holding it in place with rubber bands or cable ties as an alternative. I edited this post: If you decide to make one and it doesn't work out for you, please let me know - I might be able to modify the design to suit your needs. Similarly, if you're happy with how it turns out, please post some pictures.
