RCBS JR2 primer catch - right side
thingiverse
This is my take on the RCBS JR2 primer catcher. I used the one by @bcon123 as a starting point but basically redesigned it from the ground up. It mounts on the right side of the frame with 4 10mm x 4mm (I used 8 10mm x 2mm and stacked them) magnets. I used the primer ramp from bcon123 and added 2 holes for 6mm x 4mm magnets (again I used 6mm x 2mm and stacked them). I added some 1/6" craft foam over the magnets to provide a more grippy surface on the press frame so the part doesn't slide around as easy. The exit tube is 1/2" diameter and tapered to accept tubing but I've found that a small garbage can under the press is all that is needed to catch the primers as they drop straight down. I have not updated the model orientations to match how I printed. Please orient in a way that makes the most sense for your printer. I printed with PLA+, 30% infill on a Maker Select V2. (Please excuse the dirty press... I haven't had a chance to clean it yet.)
