RC10T2 Model
thingiverse
This is a Team Associated RC10T2 from the mid 90's, one of my all-time favorite old R/C vehicles. This model helped me learn how to model in Inventor and now Fusion 360, which I've been using since 2010 when I first started working on this project. It took about a month to complete, but it was definitely worth the effort. I recently resurrected this model to help me learn how to do things in Fusion 360, and it worked out great for that purpose. The suspension on all four corners works and is limited in travel by the shocks, the steering works, but I think it could use some limiting for the outer hubs to prevent inversions. It's nearly fully rigged except for a few missing parts. I've tried to make this as accurate and detailed as possible, even down to the ball bearings inside the transmission differential, but there are some errors that I challenge you to find. Technically, you might be able to print the arms and rims, and maybe even some of the steering arms, but the rest is probably just too small or made of metal. I hope this model inspires you to learn how to do some 3D modeling. If you manage to print parts of this, please take some pictures and post an "I Made One" under this object - I'd love to see them!
