RC10B5m Rear Sway Bar Bracket
thingiverse
I crafted an RC10B5m rear sway bar bracket to replace the stock molded bracket that shattered in two when tightening the mounting screw. No surprise there - you can't simply purchase a replacement bracket; it's part of the entire kit. So I created a 3D printed version! There are three sizes of brackets designed to accommodate the three different bar sizes in the rear swaybar kit: 1.4 mm, 1.3 mm, and 1.2 mm. Each bracket is precision-crafted with minimal slop between the bar and the bracket. Print two copies of each size for a complete set of brackets to work with all three bar sizes from the rear sway bar kit! Print Settings: Printer Brand: LulzBot Printer: Mini Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.18 mm Infill: 100% Notes: To prevent misalignment, keep the same size brackets together on the print bed and bag them in pairs. Post-Printing: Clearance the hole You might need to widen the diameter of the mounting hole slightly so the screw will pass through or simply thread the screw through the bracket and into the rear shock tower. I designed this bracket with a thin wall of varying heights surrounding the flat section. This wall prevents spinning, locates it on the rear shock tower, and reduces the space between the sway bar and bracket, minimizing the distance the bar can move front to back while still allowing free rotation.
