This is my ongoing project during the long winter months to transform my FT Simple Cub scratch built foam plane into a more realistic model. As inspiration strikes, I design 3D components to add visual realism without compromising functionality on my little foam aircraft. Each 3D printed wing strut support is carefully attached to the fuselage and wing with hot glue after precise measurement. I repurpose stake flags, originally purchased from Home Depot for control rods, as these struts. These 0.060" diameter stakes are cut down to a length of 11.75 inches.
