RC Tracks
thingiverse
Initially, I worked on adapting Nerftank for use with my RC car. To enhance traction in snowy conditions, I increased the pad thickness and width slightly. For printing, I opted for a .30 mm layer height with 5 shells and 10% infill. One feature I appreciate is the filament's ability to connect track pieces together. To assemble these components, I melted one end of the filament flat using a soldering iron, then pushed it through the connecting holes before melting the other end on the protruding side. While pre-cutting filament pieces at 32mm can simplify assembly, I chose not to do so in my case. As I modify more parts and continue printing, I'll post updates leading up to a complete project video showcase once it's finished.
