Building My RC Snow Cat, A Dream Takes Shape Assembling this RC snow cat has been a project long in the making. As I progress, more components will be integrated. For now, I've managed to complete a 3-inch track link and a spacer designed for insertion between the track's small arms and drive sprocket. Both parts were painstakingly drawn from scratch, their digital forms now brought into reality through 3D printing. The assembly has yielded a snug fit, courtesy of 6-32 screw threads that securely join each component. I searched extensively for an existing track design in 3-inch scale but found none that impressed me enough to warrant purchase or modification. Hence, the necessity of creating one from the ground up was evident. Similarly, a drive shaft mount is nearing completion as I lay out my vision for this RC snow cat's functionality and form.
