RC Tank Track

Building an RC Snow Cat from Scratch, One Part at a Time This is where it all begins - constructing my very own RC snow cat project that I've been eager to start for quite some time now. As I progress with the build, I'll be adding more components along the way. Currently, I have a 3" track link ready to go, along with a spacer designed to fit snugly between the small arms of the track and the drive sprocket. I took it upon myself to create these parts from scratch, and after printing them out, I'm pleased to report that they fit together seamlessly. The design calls for a 6-32 screw and nut connection for secure attachment. Since I couldn't find an existing track that I liked or one in the exact 3" size, I decided to take matters into my own hands and create one myself. Meanwhile, I've also started working on the drive shaft mount.
