Print Settings: Printer Brand: RepRap Printer Model: Prusa 2 Rafts: Ignore Raft Specifications Supports: Supports Are Irrelevant Notes: Ensure optimal printing conditions by incorporating fan cooling, especially when utilizing rapid layer deposition. Instructions for Fitting: Assembled from PLA with 100% infill density, featuring 0.2mm layers and a 0.4mm nozzle. Upon assembly, an 8mm diameter ball (default settings in SCAD) revealed a tight fit. By applying heat to the part and subsequent pressing, a snug connection was established. The durability of this new component is comparable to the original unit...initially. It is acknowledged that PLA degradation over time will eventually cause the material to become brittle.
