WORK IN PROGRESS This fully functional RC Airplane is based on the iconic Supermarine Spitfire Mk VIII. It's a robust, 4-channel RC model that promises to deliver an exhilarating flying experience. Stay tuned for the upcoming video showcasing this incredible model in action! **Assembly Instructions:** 1. Print all parts with 2 shells and a 10% infill setting. 2. All parts have been pre-orientated for seamless printing, ensuring minimal support material is required. 3. A few parts will necessitate some minor support removal after printing is complete. 4. Join the printed parts together using strong plastic glue. **Glue Options:** I've utilized a high-quality adhesive (Glue) to secure the model's components. You can also consider using carbon fibre rods in the wings for added strength, although this may compromise the dihedral wing effect. **Important Note:** When building the plane, it's highly recommended that you attach the motor to the nose first before gluing the nose to the middle section. This will prevent any potential issues with accessing the motor later on during assembly. **Required Components:** I'm currently testing various electronics for optimal performance, so I'll provide an updated list once I've finalized my selections. **Essential Electronics:** * 1 x Brushless Motor * 1 x ESC (Electronic Speed Controller) * 4 x 9g Servos or 5g Servos (note: some 9g servos may require plastic screw holder removal for proper fitment) **Additional Components:** * 4 x Servo Horns * 4 x Servo Push Rods (I'm using 0.8mm Piano Wire) * Battery (be sure to adjust the middle section as needed to accommodate larger batteries) * Minimum 4CH Transmitter and Receiver * CA Glue and CA Hinges **Optional Upgrades:** * Flite Controller for Auto Levelling and Stabilisation * Carbon Fibre Rods * FPV Camera and Transmitter (compatible with the top canopy's pre-drilled hole) * FPV Receiver and Monitor
