RC Speed Tank - Speed Reduction Planetary Gear

This is a replacement for the Drive Wheel of the RC Speed Tank. Its designed to slow down the speed. It has a 1:3.8 reduction ratio. The primary objective was to slow down the tank's speed, making it suitable for my four-year-old son to operate. The original tank was too fast for a child, so this new design aims to improve manageability. You need to print the following parts: * Abdeckung spiegel.stl - 1 * Abdeckung.stl - 1 * Hohlrad.stl - 2 * Klemme spiegel.stl - 1 * Klemme.stl - 1 * Planetenrad (13 teeth).stl - 6 * Planetenrad Halter Aussen.stl - 2 * Planetenrad Halter.stl - 2 * Planetenrad_no_bearing.stl - optional, 6 * Treibrad Zahnrad.stl - 2 Additionally, you will need: * M3x20 screws - 6 pieces * M3x10 screws - 10 pieces * M3 washers - 6 pieces * M3 nuts - 10 pieces * 3x7x3 mm Ball-bearings - 6 pieces (optional) The Planetary Gears come in two versions: one for bearings and one without. Surprisingly, the version without bearings holds up well in my prototype (printed in PLA), but using bearings makes it more durable. Assembly Instructions: 1. Start with the Treibrad Zahnrad. 2. Place the Planetenrad Halter on top of it, with the small surveys facing upwards. 3. Take three Planetenrad (with assembled bearings) and place them on the three holes on the Planetenrad Halter. 4. Put a 3-mm washer on each Planetenrad / bearing. 5. Take the Planetenrad Halter Aussen and insert three M3 nuts into the corresponding holes. 6. Place the Planetenrad Halter Aussen on top of everything and secure it with three M3x20 screws. 7. Slide the Hohlrad onto the assembly, which may require some wiggling - I used grease on the gears to make it easier. 8. Take the Abdeckung and insert two M3 nuts into the corresponding holes. 9. Place the Abdeckung on top of everything and mount it with three M3x20 screws. Remove the old Drive wheels from the tank and replace them with the new one, securing them with the Klemme and two M3x10 screws. To maintain the original driving direction, you will need to reverse your motors.
