Rc Snowmobile Conversion kit (Polaris Rush)

Update Feb 2020, I made a change to the design by adding one part sprocket instead of two, as the original one was unreliable. Additionally, I included the v4 track with a reinforced center seam and the v2 a-arms featuring two holes for added stability. The wheels were also missing, but they have been incorporated now. Hopefully, people will appreciate this small touch! These are still the free version 1 files; you can access all the latest updates at www.rccreations.shop/shop. I decided to upload my designs to Thingiverse instead of Dropbox. Feel free to share what you create! All printed parts should be produced with a layer height of 0.2 or 0.3, six perimeters, four bottom layers, five top layers, 20% infill, and a temperature setting of 220 degrees Celsius. Here's what you need to know for the conversion: To assemble this kit, you'll require some essential components: electronics (which include a 16-gauge rust-proof wire), common hardware like a 3mm rod (aluminum or brass) and a 6mm rod (30mm long), four 1/8 colars, various screws (M2, M3, M4...), washers, glue, and a fence wire. The tunnel is made from a thin sheet of steel or aluminum that's been bent and cut according to the dimensions shown in the video. Transmission. This system uses two 6x13x5 bearings and two 12x18x4 bearings (for the latest files only). A 56t spur gear and a 14-20t pinion gear from Traxxas are used for gears. You'll also need a few M2 and M3 screws. Electronics. I use a Castle Creation Sct brushless combo, an Exi steering servo with metal gearing, and a Spectrum transmitter and receiver combo in my snowmobile. These components are paired with a 3s 2200mAh battery from Gens Ace. Shocks. For this kit, you'll need two 60-78mm shocks for the front, one 55-60mm shock for the middle, and one 70-80mm shock for the rear. Here's a list of tools required to complete this project: * Box cutter * Lighter * Screwdriver * Magnet (optional) * Pliers * Sheet metal scissors * Candle * Ruler * Pencil * Drill and drill bits * Vice (optional but highly recommended) * Soldering iron (optional)
