Tracks for 1/10 Scale RC Cars, Trucks, or Buggies in Mattracks Style I Designed Them Specifically for My Vaterra Twin Hammers to Drive in Snowy Conditions The tread and axles come from a Tamiya 70100 Track and Wheel Set Check out my video of the tracks in action: http://youtu.be/Olw4WwAe8B8 Making Four Snow Tracks Requires: * Two Tamiya 70100 Track and Wheel Sets. Discard the orange wheels that come with them * Eight 6204 Bearings - I purchased a 10-pack from usabearingsbelts on eBay * Twelve 4-40 Screws: Eight at one inch long, Two at half an inch long * Two 4-40 Nuts For each track print the following parts: 1. Frame1b.stl 2. MIRRORED Frame1b.stl 3. 32_tooth_wheel_4.stl 4. Three idler2.stl pieces 5. One idler1.stl piece 6. Two spacer_internal.stl pieces Use all capital letters for the words 'MIRRORED' as these files need to be mirrored before printing. DesignSpark Mechanical is my CAD tool, and I found that it doesn't have a mirror feature. To cut the included axles to length, use a Dremel tool and get four 0.7 inch long axles per track. Secure tracks firmly so they can't rotate, especially on a twin hammer model where a few extra pieces will come in handy. For my Vaterra Twin Hammers model, you might also want to print the following: * FrontStabilizer.stl * MIRRORED FrontStabilizer.stl * RearStabilizer.stl * MIRRORED RearStabilizer.stl Want to make adjustments? Get DesignSpark Mechanical and download the .rsdoc files to see a detailed exploded assembly of all parts.
