RC snow track (mattrack)
thingiverse
I upload the scad version of the bearing. I recommend printing the drivewheel first and measuring the shaft diameters to adjust the bearing dimensions (outer diameter and ID). As the drivewheel is printed vertically, the diameter resting on the plate may be slightly larger than the top diameter. 12/08/19 I upload the new drivewheel (I uploaded the wrong file). I couldn't find a fully printable 3d track so I created mine. The main difficulty was the bearings. After many tests I opted for epicycloidal gear bearings, printable in one go. They have a good axial and radial load capacity. I used this: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:950925. I have included the STL of mine but you can use the link to create yours according to the accuracy of your printer. Each track is composed of: -main body x1 -drive wheel x1 -big wheel x4 -wheel x4 -track x1 -Universal frame x1 This is the inner part of the frame, it is used to block the rotation of the track around the hub. This one is drilled, so with screws or another part you can adapt it to your model. I customized mine for a losi night crawler, if you have the same one tell me I will provide them. -gear slew bearing x2 You will need M3 screws, washers and lock nuts. All the parts are designed for a right track, so for the left you need to mirror the main body and the inner frame.
