RC servo top cover for Hextronik MG14
thingiverse
Falling due to my helicopter crashed into the servo housing. And of course many other things were damaged too. Fortunately the other pilot was not hurt, so we're planning on replacing it with a brand new one. For the replacement I recommend using PET-G material but PLA is also a good option. We'll be printing at 0.2mm layer height and 0.3mm nozzle size to ensure a smooth finish. To avoid any complications necessary support structures will be added. The inner part of the print is designed to be on top, making it easy to print without any hassle. Before printing the bearing and shaft hole drill needs to be adjusted to prevent any issues. Don't force it, as this may cause problems later. Just take your time and make sure everything fits properly. Remember to clean up any dirt or plastic chips that may have accumulated during the print process, as these can cause the servo to jam.
