RC Scale Engine - Ford 640 Hemi
thingiverse
I replicated this loosely based on the original Bigfoot 1 Monster truck, powered by a 640 Ford Hemi engine. Triple Predator carbs were also included, along with an injector hat that can be used in its place. To assemble the model, you'll need a rubber band or a 171mm rubber timing belt for the pulleys. It's recommended to gently test fit each printed part, then disassemble and sand it, fill with primer, paint individual pieces to your liking, and finally glue them back together. Some people like superglue, but I always prefer E6000 because it's more forgiving and not permanent. Note that the holes in Block 1 with long backs on them (for pulley shafts) will need to be enlarged with a 23 Drill bit. To add extra detail, you can use electrical wire and small hoses. I updated Blocks 2 and 3 from .3mf files to .stl files and added the front portion of the blower injection hat. This snaps onto the main hat body and helps create moving butterflys - there's a pass-through hole for a paperclip wire to pass through. I also included exploded view photos to aid assembly. I updated Valve Covers to offer two styles.
