I designed a scale trailer for my NQD jet boat using PLA+. The trailer features functional leaf springs, which I carefully assembled by gluing and bolting all the pieces together without any issues or breaks. It's essential to use M3 hardware when building this project. When choosing the rim, make sure to select one with two 12mm extensions, as this will provide a secure fit. I opted for a smaller 1.9-inch rim to prevent any rubbing issues. To complete the trailer, you'll need 2 x 6700ZZ ball bearings and a length of 5mm rod. Simply slide the rod through the axle extensions and wheels, then cut it to size as needed.
