I designed this modification specifically for the Sanwa RPM-Sensor and my Yokomo BD8-2018. The stay is secured to the front bulhead. Because the spool housing has a black finish, I added a small amount of white paint to ensure the sensor can detect it properly. To guarantee accurate readings, make sure there's about 1mm of space between the sensor and the spool housing. Any contact could potentially damage the sensor.
