Nov 6: Minor refinements made to the rudder and tail fin of this printable RC aircraft model. No major changes required during fitting process. Nov 4: To avoid confusion, separate models published for the full ABS version. Nov 1: Nose cone and engine mount updated. Oct 30: Instructions updated. Based on a cub/trainer design, this printable RC aircraft is under construction. Pics of completed design coming soon after parts from Hong Kong arrive. Oct 27: Added nose cone and tail section to the model along with a more aerodynamic stabilizer and control surface. Testing revealed that the components are strong, easy to fly, and forgiving in crashes. AUW is around 500g depending on motor, ESC, and battery selection. Version 2 fuselage adds 200g but remains within standard motor's power range. Oct 24: V3 rear stabilizer and matching rudder added for increased surface area and aerodynamic profile. Instructions include pics of each stage and notes where needed. Printed parts are designed to fit tightly, requiring trimming or drilling for a proper fit. Some familiarity with model building and wiring is essential. All parts printed using ABS. Good luck and enjoy!
