RC Plane scalable battery mount plate V2
thingiverse
Based on my previous Battery Mount plate here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4947126 While the old mount was meant to be used with Velcro straps or similar, this version is specifically designed to be used to mount Li-Ion Cell packs in a vertical position. In my Case 21700 cells in a 4S configuration. You need the exact right length of the screws that hold the clamps to keep clearance of the sliders. Maybe you need to shorten screws as I had to. The battery can be moved still to adjust CG and then hard mounted by tighten the screws. It gives 8mm clearance for wiring. Can be changed by changing the offset layer distance but might need to change a radius change for the mount rails. Glue into the fuselage fully assembled and then you can remove the top plate with the M3 screws. Has a recess for an Amass XT60. Screw it from the top as the clearance at the bottom will be too low. The free area at the front is there to mount any kind of PCB or other parts that holds connectors for Cameras, pan and titlt servos or whatever you want to put there. The top plate is slit in 2 parts to be printed on 200mm Beds. The rail is for the left side, to print the right side, mirror the rail. f3D file included so you can adjust the size to your liking. The Clamps should be easily adoptable to other battery layouts like 3S or to 18650 setups.
