RC Plane Predator UAV

Hey guys, I'm working on an RC Predator Drone. I'm looking for someone to join in on the development! There will be a pic soon... November 26, 2019 Reworks are being done on the cockpit... December 8, 2019 So far, the bottom part of the cockpit weighs around 63g. The white spots are from bad CA Glue Activator. December 22, 2019 Progress is slow at the moment, but I managed to print a first wing part with infill by merging STL files in Cura. The airfoil I'm using is a "Clark Y" (http://airfoiltools.com/airfoil/details?airfoil=clarky-il). It's tough to keep the STL files up-to-date on Thingiverse because I do lots of small changes. If someone is already interested in the parts, just message me - maybe I'll open up a Dropbox or something like that. January 15, 2020 I'm still working on the fuselage, but some progress has been made. January 27, 2020 I've made my first attempt at the wings. Not sure if it works out well like this, but it's a first try... February 23, 2020 It's been a while - work kept me busy. I printed the first wing, but made it bigger than it should be for scale. I hope to get better lift and gliding abilities with more wingsurface. The cockpit hood seems to be working well (a small hook in the front and an M3 screw in the back). It fits nice and snugly. I also plan to make a "maintenance hood" for the wings to make wiring easier, and maybe attach the wings with screws so they can be replaced more easily - that's a feature for the future. May 6, 2020 Hey guys, It seems like I'm not making any progress at the moment. Work and private stuff kept me busy. Maybe I stacked up too high on this project... Will upload a SolidWorks file of a slightly smaller version. June 1, 2020 The smaller version (wingspan: 1400 mm) is progressing. Planning to make it a V-tail controlled plane only. I figured out how to slice this model with the PrusaSlicer. The whole SolidWorks file is up for download.
