RC Plane CG Posts

I designed these to easily find the CG of my Flite Test Legacy V2. The Legacy V2 has two holes in the wing to support the plane to find the CG. Designed in three parts, print two of each then glue together. The clearances are a little loose so even if your printer isn't perfectly calibrated you won't have problems getting them together. The base parts have optional holes for #10 flat head wood screws so you can mount them to a piece of wood or whatever you want if you so choose. Total height from base to tip is 14" (355mm) to give room for the larger Flite Test planes with landing gear. (My Legacy V2 measures about 13" (330mm) from gear to wing bottom). The tip is 3/16" diameter (about 4.75mm) and is rounded to act as a pivot point. Print Settings Printer Brand: Creality Printer: Ender 3 Pro Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: 0.3mm Filament: Inland PLA Gray Notes: Ender 3 V2, 220C nozzle, 60C bed on smooth PEI sheet. **IMPORTANT** Parts are designed to be printed with 3 shells (walls)! This will create ZERO infill except for the base. The parts are also hollow for material savings as they don't need to be super strong. Post-Printing Glue the posts together and mount to a base of your choice if desired with flat head #10 screws. How I Designed This Designed in Inventor 2015 Category: R/C Vehicles
