RC plane base (powerpod)
thingiverse
I'm building a power pod for my drone that's surprisingly simple to print. It requires two servos - I'm using 9g ones but you can use 2212 or 2208 motors instead, as well as an ESC and a LiPo battery with a maximum size of 31x34x120mm. Additionally, you'll need four M3 screws that are 6mm long and another four that are 16mm long to assemble it properly. I'm using ABS filament for my power pod, but you can also use PLA or PETG if you prefer. The model consists of two parts: a base and a motor holder. You don't need any supports as the layer height is 0.2mm and the nozzle size is 0.4mm. When everything is assembled, the final weight comes out to be about 250 grams.
