RC offroad 1/10 tuning material
thingiverse
Wanted quality tuning material but couldn't afford high prices. So decided to design some handy stuff myself. * Created a gauge for measuring droop (regular height on backside), with 30mm being zero droop, when used with ... * Droop-chassis-blocks (30mm) (more on droop: http://www.competitionx.com/rc-tuning-droop/) Also made a regular * Height gauge from 26 to 15mm Printed the gauges in two colors. Started with one color, paused the printer after 0.8 mm and switched to another color, no big deal. Plain print in one color will do just fine too! And some shims. Have a very well-tuned MK3 so can print with an accuracy of 0.1 easily. So why not print my own shims instead of buying them? All shims have an internal diameter of 3.15mm, some are 7 and some are 8 mm outside diameter. In thicknesses of 1, 2, 3 and 4 mm. Printed them all in plain orange PLA. Like the color orange AND you simply lose dark-colored shims when dropping them. Bright orange makes them easier to spot again on the floor or track.
