RC Hovercraft

The original design by Jetpilot212 makes for a fantastic running hovercraft. Check out his creation to download the basic stl files. I added some innovative modifications to the design that I'd love to share with you: The overall length of the hovercraft has been reduced by 20cm, making it even more agile than before. This modification boosts its speed and maneuverability. To combat rotation issues caused by a single lift propeller, I mounted the lift motor at a 5° downthrust angle. This clever tweak ensures smooth flight and reduces the risk of spinouts. The new lift propeller is designed with three blades, providing maximum lift and stability. Safety first! To prevent damage to people or objects nearby, I added a sturdy propguard (see attached stl file). It's an essential feature for anyone building this hovercraft. When it comes to the thrust motor, I positioned it strategically to maximize the impeller effect. I also secured it firmly with additional clamps for extra stability. For a glimpse into how well this modified design performs, check out the first test runs at: https://youtu.be/nEmLPvEmf2I UPDATE: Don't forget that 20'' tubes are all you need to complete this awesome hovercraft project!
