Hey guys! Check out my brand new 3D printed Hovercraft! It's basically finished, but I might make some future modifications to give it an extra boost. Feel free to modify any part you like and share what you create - let me know how your build goes! Print Settings: Printer Brand: LulzBot Printer Model: TAZ 6 Rafts: No Supports: No Infill Percentage: 10% for the nacelles, 8% for the hull pieces Notes: When printing in a vertical manner, print a Brim for the hull pieces. The nacelles require 10% infill, while the hull pieces need 8% infill. I used standard print quality settings throughout my prints. Overview and Background: This is an RC project that requires some experience with servos, ESCs, motors, etc. Stay tuned for a build video in the next few days! Lesson Plan and Activity: Printing time: approximately 24 hours Assembly time: around 5-10 hours, depending on age and skill level Materials Needed: RC components like 9gram servos, 25amp ESCs, and miniquad motors are used in this build.
