On 16th November 2013, the sheering issue seems to have been resolved. A new model has been uploaded as a remix, while the original model has been taken down. The CAD drawing remains available for users who wish to work on it. On 15th April 2013, instructions were provided to use either 'rotar assemblyv4 test print.dwg' or 'rotar assemblyv4 test print.stl' to test the scale of your Gcode generator, such as Cura. A recommended scale factor of 23.25 was mentioned for the shaft. After printing and checking the fit, apply this scale factor to the 'rotar assemblyv4 test print'. It is advised to use ABS instead of PLA due to its strength and resistance to biodegradation with lubrication.
