I was determined to fix this broken rotor piece, the crucial Jesus nut of the helicopter's rotor. I decided to give it a shot at recreating one from scratch, and the project turned out to be a resounding success. The RC toy is now living its best days thanks to my ingenuity. Model: FQ777 Size: Precision engineered for optimal performance To learn more about this brilliant fix, head over to the project page on Hackaday.io: https://hackaday.io/project/34326-3d-fix-a-helicopter Printing Instructions: Print with a robust 2-layer raft material to ensure stability. Opt for a precise 0.2mm layer height for seamless results. To speed up the process, print two pieces simultaneously, allowing the layers to cool down efficiently. Once printed, carefully remove the raft material and use a drill bit to clean out the holes. Finally, use a carving knife, files, and sandpaper to trim off any excess material and smooth out the edges.
