RC helicopter Jesus nut
thingiverse
I decided to tackle this broken rotor piece (the Jesus nut of the rotor) head-on and give it a try at recreating one. The project turned out to be a huge success and my RC toy is now living its best days. Model and size: FQ777 For more info about this fix, check out the project page on: https://hackaday.io/project/34326-3d-fix-a-helicopter Instructions for printing: Print with at least two layers of raft material I recommend a 0.2mm layer height It's a good idea to print two pieces at the same time to allow the layers to cool down After printing, remove the raft material and use a drill bit to clean out the holes Use a carving knife, files and sandpaper to trim off and grind away any excess material
